WP1. Project management and coordination

Background

ROAMER will produce a coordinated Roadmap for the promotion and integration of mental health and well-being research in Europe, based on a common methodology and a conceptual framework which covers the full spectrum of biological, psychological, epidemiological, public health, social and economic aspects of mental health and well-being. Although the aim is an overall Roadmap with actionable recommendations, it will be the outcome of a coordination effort involving roadmaps specifically designed for the major research areas of mental health and well-being, including infrastructures, capacity building and funding programs. The common methodology itself is a coordination mechanism that guarantees comparability, consistency and coherence of results. This methodology incorporates both the processes required to develop the specific area roadmaps as well as the consensus-creating mechanisms. Moreover the methodology has to set also the indicators and criteria which are to be adapted to measure, evaluate and prioritise research problems and initiatives.
